10.2 Nonconformity and corrective action

ISO 14001:2015 clause 10.2 requires organizations to identify any nonconformities in their EMS, document the causes and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and to evaluate the effectiveness of those actions. It also mandates the maintenance of records of the nonconformities, corrective actions taken and any follow-up verification.
