6.1 Actions to address risks and opportunities

Clause 6.1 of ISO 14001:2015 requires an organization to identify environmental risks and opportunities it faces, then plan and implement actions to eliminate or reduce those risks while capitalizing on opportunities. The actions must be integrated into the EMS, documented, and reviewed to ensure they support continual improvement and compliance with environmental obligations.
