6.6 Completing the audit

In ISO 19011:2018, clause 6.6 details the steps for completing an audit, requiring auditors to confirm that audit objectives were met, compile findings, and communicate results to the auditee. It also mandates proper documentation of conclusions, identified nonconformities and agreed corrective actions before formally closing the audit.
