5.1 Leadership and commitment

In ISO 22000:2018 clause 5.1 requires top management to demonstrate leadership and commitment by establishing, implementing and maintaining the food safety management system, ensuring the safety policy, objectives and necessary resources are defined, and fostering a culture of continual improvement.
