6.1 Actions to address risks and opportunities

Clause 6.1 of ISO 22000:2018 requires an organization to identify food-safety hazards and other risks, then plan and implement actions to eliminate, mitigate, or control them while also taking advantage of opportunities for improvement. These actions are integrated into the food safety management system and must be monitored, evaluated, and updated as needed.
