8.9 Control of product and process nonconformities

Clause 8.9 of ISO 22000:2018 requires organizations to identify, document and control any nonconforming product or process, ensuring it is isolated, evaluated and either corrected, reprocessed, or disposed of to prevent unintended use. It also mandates records of actions taken and verification of effectiveness.
