8.6 Evaluation of documentation and capabilities

Entry 8.6 requires organizations to assess the completeness, accuracy and suitability of their business continuity documentation and to verify that required capabilities, such as resources, skills and processes, are in place and effective for meeting the BCMS objectives. This evaluation ensures that documented procedures are current, that gaps are identified, and that corrective actions are taken to maintain resilience.
