8.7 Evaluation of documentation and capabilities

ISO 22313:2020 advises organizations to systematically assess the completeness, relevance and effectiveness of their business continuity documentation and the capabilities supporting it. The guidance outlines methods for reviewing policies, procedures, plans and resource allocations, verifying that they meet defined objectives and are fit for current risks. It also recommends regular monitoring, testing and corrective actions to maintain continual improvement of the BCMS.
