6.2 Organizational governance

ISO 26000:2010 defines organizational governance as the system by which an entity makes and implements decisions, sets policies and objectives, and manages its resources and relationships to achieve its purpose responsibly and ethically. It emphasizes transparency, accountability, stakeholder engagement, and alignment of governance structures with the organization's social responsibility commitments.
