Clause 5 - Leadership

Clause 5 of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 defines the leadership responsibilities essential for an effective information security management system; top management must demonstrate commitment, establish an information security policy, assign roles and ensure provision of resources. It also requires integrating security objectives into the organization's strategic direction and holding leadership accountable for continual improvement of the ISMS.
