Clause 6 - Planning

Clause 6 of ISO 30401:2018 sets out the planning requirements for a knowledge-management system, mandating that organisations define knowledge-related objectives, assess internal and external issues, identify risks and opportunities, and allocate appropriate resources and responsibilities to achieve the intended outcomes. It also requires establishing processes for monitoring, reviewing and updating the knowledge strategy.
