9.2 Internal audit

Section 9.2 of ISO 37001:2016 requires an organization to plan and conduct internal audits of its anti-bribery management system at defined intervals, ensuring that the system conforms to the standard and functions effectively. Audit results must be recorded, nonconformities addressed through corrective actions, and findings communicated to top management for review.
