5.3 Organizational roles, responsibilities and authorities

Clause 5.3 of ISO 39001:2012 requires an organization to define and document the roles, responsibilities and authorities needed for its road traffic safety management system, ensuring top management assigns duties, communicates them throughout the organization and grants the authority required to achieve safety objectives.
