8.2 Emergency preparedness and response

Entry 8_2 of ISO 39001:2012 requires organizations to plan and implement emergency preparedness and response measures within their road-traffic safety management system. It mandates the identification of potential incidents, establishment of response procedures, allocation of resources, training of personnel and communication protocols to ensure timely and effective action when emergencies occur.
