6.1 Actions to address risks and opportunities

Clause 6.1 requires an organization to identify occupational health and safety risks and opportunities, determine appropriate actions to eliminate hazards or reduce risks, and exploit opportunities for improvement. These actions must be planned, implemented, and integrated into the OH S management system, with responsibilities, resources, and timelines clearly defined.
