8.2 Emergency preparedness and response

Clause 8.2 of ISO 45001:2018 requires organizations to establish, implement and maintain processes for identifying potential emergency situations, assessing their impacts, and preparing appropriate response procedures. It mandates training, testing and continuous improvement of emergency plans to ensure timely, effective action that protects workers, visitors and the environment.
