9.2 Internal audit

Clause 9.2 requires the organization to plan and conduct internal audits at intervals needed to verify that its occupational health and safety management system complies with ISO 45001 and its own documented requirements, and to evaluate its effectiveness. Audits must be objective, impartial and their findings reported to top management for corrective action.
