8.3 Procurement

Clause 8.3 of ISO 50001:2018 requires organizations to integrate energy considerations into their procurement processes, ensuring that purchased equipment, services and supplies support energy performance objectives, that suppliers are evaluated on energy criteria, and that contracts reflect these requirements.
