8.1 Operational planning and control

Clause 8.1 of ISO 55001:2014 requires organizations to define and implement operational planning and control processes that ensure asset management activities are performed in accordance with established objectives, policies and risk assessments, allocating appropriate resources, setting performance criteria, and continuously monitoring and adjusting actions to maintain asset value and reliability.
