5.3 Organizational roles, responsibilities and authorities

Clause 5.3 of ISO 9001:2015 mandates that an organization determine and document the roles, responsibilities and authorities needed for its quality management system. This ensures that each function knows its duties, has the authority to act and that accountability is clearly established throughout the organization.
