7.3 Awareness

Clause 7.3 of ISO 9001:2015 mandates that an organization ensure all persons doing work under its control are aware of the quality management system's relevance to their roles, the quality policy, objectives, and their contribution to meeting requirements, as well as the consequences of non-conformance. This awareness helps align daily activities with the organization's commitment to quality and continual improvement.
