NPSG.07 - Reduce the risk of health care-associated infections

The Joint Commission's NPSG.07 standard requires hospitals to implement evidence-based practices that prevent health-care-associated infections, including hand hygiene, environmental cleaning, sterilization, and antimicrobial stewardship, and to measure and monitor infection rates in order to drive continuous improvement.
