RC - Record of Care, Treatment, and Services

RC requires hospitals to create and maintain complete, accurate records of each patient's care, treatment and services, documenting all clinical and ancillary activities in a timely, legible manner. The standard also mandates proper storage, confidentiality and easy access for authorized staff to support continuity of care, quality monitoring and regulatory reporting.
