Import requirements

The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme's import requirements mandate that every rough-diamond shipment entering a participant country be accompanied by a valid KP certificate confirming the stones are conflict-free. Importing parties must verify the certificate's authenticity, retain records and report any discrepancies to the national authority.
