Export requirements

The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme mandates that every shipment of rough diamonds intended for export be accompanied by a government-issued certificate confirming the diamonds are conflict-free and sourced from a participating country. Exporters must submit a validated KPCS declaration, ensure the goods are sealed and marked, and retain records for verification by customs and authorities. Non-compliance can result in shipment denial, fines, or suspension from the scheme.
