Art 2 - Scope (essential and important entities)

Article 2 sets out the scope of the NIS 2 Directive by distinguishing essential entities, which include sectors such as health, energy, transport and digital services, from important entities that have a significant but less critical role, and defines the security and reporting obligations each group must fulfill.
