Art 8 - Competent authorities and CSIRTs

Art 8 requires each Member State to designate competent authorities and one or more Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs) to oversee the implementation of the NIS 2 measures, to monitor compliance and to handle incident reporting. It specifies the tasks, cooperation mechanisms and resource needs of these bodies, ensuring a coordinated national response to cybersecurity threats.
