03.01.12 - Remote Access

The entry ac_l_12 in NIST SP 800-171 Revision 3 defines requirements for secure remote access to systems processing Controlled Unclassified Information. It mandates that remote connections use strong authentication, encrypted communications, and continuous monitoring to protect CUI from unauthorized disclosure, alteration, or loss.
