Step 3 - Cease, prevent or mitigate adverse impacts

Step 3 of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises requires companies to identify any adverse social, environmental or human-rights impacts linked to their activities and to take immediate action to cease, prevent or mitigate those impacts, integrating remediation into their policies and practices.
