Step 6 - Provide for or cooperate in remediation

The sixth step of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct calls on companies to set up effective mechanisms to remediate any adverse impacts they cause or contribute to, and to work cooperatively with affected stakeholders, local communities, and authorities in carrying out those remedial actions.
