1910.39 - Fire Prevention Plans

OSHA 1910.39 requires employers to create a written fire-prevention plan that identifies all fire hazards, outlines protective measures, and designates responsibilities for fire safety. The plan must be reviewed annually, communicated to employees, and include proper handling of flammable or combustible materials, fire-extinguishing equipment, and emergency response procedures. Non-compliance can result in citations and penalties.
