Subpart A - General

Subpart A of OSHA's General Industry Standards (29 CFR Part 1910) establishes the scope, definitions, and general safety and health provisions that apply to most workplaces covered by the act. It sets out the authority of the agency, employer responsibilities, and basic requirements for hazard communication, recordkeeping, and employee training.
