1926.102 - Eye and Face Protection

Section 1926.102 mandates that employers on construction sites provide appropriate eye and face protective equipment whenever workers are exposed to hazards such as flying particles, chemicals, heat, or infectious materials, and requires that the gear meet specified performance criteria. It also obliges employers to train employees on proper selection, use, maintenance and limitations of the protection.
