Art 6.4 - Sustainable Development Mechanism

Article 6.4 establishes the Sustainable Development Mechanism, a UN-facilitated carbon market that enables participating Parties to generate and transfer emission reductions while promoting sustainable development. It provides a framework for internationally transferred mitigation outcomes that can be used to meet nationally determined contributions and can be transferred between Parties.
