Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) (Art 97)

Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is a PSD2 requirement that obliges payment service providers to verify a user's identity with at least two independent elements-knowledge, possession or inherence-before authorising electronic transactions. The rule aims to boost security and curb fraud across most online and remote payments.
