Subtitle F - Federal Responsibilities

Subtitle F of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act sets out the federal government's duties for hazardous-waste management, giving the EPA authority to develop and enforce standards, oversee state programs, and provide technical assistance and funding. It also establishes mechanisms for intergovernmental coordination and compliance monitoring.
