ISM Code - Safety and environmental protection policy

The ISM Code obliges ship owners and operators to create a written safety and environmental protection policy that declares their commitment to safe operation, compliance with all applicable regulations, and continuous improvement of safety performance. This policy must be integrated into the vessel's Safety Management System, communicated to the crew, and reviewed periodically.
