Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA)

The Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) is a core requirement of EU Directive 2009/138/EC that obliges insurers and reinsurers to evaluate their risk profile, capital adequacy and solvency on a continuous basis, integrate the results into strategic planning, and report the findings to supervisory authorities.
