Supervisory Review Process

The supervisory review process under Directive 2009/138/EC, known as Solvency II, sets out how national regulators assess insurers' risk management, governance and capital adequacy. It requires regular quantitative and qualitative evaluations, including reporting, on-site inspections and corrective actions to ensure the firm meets solvency standards and protects policyholders.
