Sec 804 - Statute of Limitations for Securities Fraud
Section 804 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 sets a five-year statute of limitations for most securities fraud claims, extending the prior two-year period, and permits the clock to be tolled while the fraud is concealed, giving investigators additional time to uncover wrongdoing.
