Arbitration agreement
The UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration defines an arbitration agreement as a contract by which parties consent to submit present or future disputes to arbitration, specifying the scope, form and procedural autonomy of the arbitration. It sets standards for the validity, enforcement and recognition of such agreements across jurisdictions.
