GP 21 - Communication

GP 21 addresses the need for businesses to communicate clearly and transparently about their human-rights policies, practices and performance. It calls for regular, accessible reporting to stakeholders, including disclosures of due-diligence processes and outcomes, and for establishing channels that allow affected parties to raise concerns and receive timely information. Effective communication underpins accountability and enables dialogue between enterprises, victims, civil society and governments.
