Recycling Targets by Category (Annex V)

The recycling_target entry in Annex V of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive 2012/19/EU sets EU-wide minimum recycling rates for each WEEE category, such as large appliances, IT equipment, lighting, and medical devices. It specifies the required percentages of weight that must be recovered and recycled from collected waste, establishing mandatory performance targets for member states and treatment facilities.
