Art 11 - Packaging and labelling

Article 11 of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control requires parties to adopt measures that ensure tobacco product packaging and labeling convey health warnings that are clear, visible and legally mandated; it calls for large, graphic warnings covering a significant portion of the pack, standardized branding restrictions, and the prohibition of misleading statements that could downplay health risks.
