Art 12 - Education, communication, training and public awareness

Article 12 of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control obliges parties to promote and coordinate comprehensive public education, communication, training and awareness programmes about the health risks of tobacco use and the benefits of quitting, targeting all segments of the population and especially vulnerable groups.
