Art 18 - Protection of the environment and health of persons

Article 18 of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control requires parties to protect the environment and the health of persons by addressing tobacco-related waste, pollution and fire hazards, and by implementing measures to reduce litter, toxic emissions and other environmental impacts of tobacco production, distribution and consumption.
