Article 10 - Special and Differential Treatment

Article 10 of the WTO SPS Agreement provides developing and least-developed members with special and differential treatment, allowing them greater flexibility, longer implementation periods and access to technical assistance when adopting sanitary and phytosanitary measures, while requiring that those measures remain scientifically justified and not disguised as trade barriers.
