Article 8 - Control, Inspection and Approval Procedures

Article 8 requires that any sanitary or phytosanitary measure involving control, inspection or approval be applied only to the extent necessary to protect human, animal or plant life or health, be based on scientific principles and established international standards, and be administered transparently, consistently and without unjustified discrimination.
