ASJC Subject Areas

The ASJC (All Science Journal Classification) is Scopus's system for grouping journals into 27 broad subject areas and over 300 more detailed fields, each identified by a numeric code. The entry labeled ASJC refers to the entire classification framework, which enables users to filter, search and analyze scholarly output by discipline across the database.
