Water Resource Accounts in Physical Units

W1 in the SEEA framework specifies the compilation of water resource accounts expressed in physical units such as cubic metres, documenting the availability, use and changes in water stocks across sectors and regions. These accounts provide a basis for integrated environmental-economic analysis and support water management and policy decisions.
